Health services during strike action
Junior Doctors are striking from Thursday 13 to Tuesday 18 July, and then Consultants are striking on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 July.
This means that our hospitals will be under a lot of pressure again – especially as this is a long period of strike action.
- Only go to the Emergency Department (A&E) or call 999 for a life-threatening emergency or serious injury
- If you are unwell, contact your GP
- If you can’t contact your GP, go to NHS 111 online
- For a mental health emergency go to NHS 111 online
- And you can also visit your local pharmacy for expert advice and medicines.
