About this event
Patient-led assessments of the care environment (PLACE) focus wholly on the environment rather than how care is provided, or how well staff are doing their job. The Trust is undertaking PLACE assessments on 18 October at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust are inviting local people who would like to be assessors to come and join teams looking at cleanliness, food, general building maintenance and how well the environment protects people’s privacy and dignity. NHS England’s guidance and information for patient assessors and an example of an assessment form are attached for information, but no specific knowledge is needed to take part.
